Concert for the Society for the Promotion of American Silly Music

I performed at the first ever Hartt SPASM Concert. SPASM, also known as Society for the Promotion of American Silly Music, made quite a stir. Check out the concert review here and give a listen to my performances in, "Asylum Cafeteria," by Andrew Pergiovanni and "Two Cautionary Tales: Jim" by Steven Snowden.

"Asylum Cafeteria", composed by Andrew Pergiovanni, is musical poetry depicting a patient's violent rant in an insane asylum. At the end of the piece, you can hear his ramblings quite down into mumblings after he's been given a tranquilizer. Pretty wild stuff! Enjoy the ride!

Steven Snowden's "Two Cautionary Tales: Jim, who ran away from his nurse and was eaten by a lion," was just that! The text was taken from Hilaire Belloc's tales for children. For more information about Steven Snowden and his fantastic works, check out www.stevensnowden.com.
